Project introduction

“Character Facts” is a motion graphic project dedicated to telling 2 fun facts about a person you admire.

My Character is Wes Anderson, my favorite filmmaker.

Character Research

Wes Anderson is exact, insist, playful, and funny. He has this sense of humor where the main characters always look serious yet a little nerdy. They are trouble makers, but they are also intensely focused on the trouble they are making. We almost see Wes Anderson himself playing the leading role in his movie.

Elegant, a little clumsy, loving, caring for their friends. We are seeing familiar faces in all of his films. He uses the same actors featuring his movies.

Now I think more in-depth about it. I think the little boy in every story is, in fact, Wes Anderson himself. He always played the little boy out of the film. Always making troubles but also always find a solution to the problem. They are adventurous.

I love how the characters are funny with a serious face is my favorite part. The color choice is brilliant — the costume. Seeing the same faces in his film makes me feel like I am seeing an old friend’s act in a movie. They maintain a similar personality throughout the film.•
